My visitor today...

In my WAY BACK garden area- this fellow came to visit today... Startled me, momentarily, but I recovered and got a few pics! You can not get very close to a Black Racer, BUT I tried! ;)

A cool visitor June, I take it black racers are fast and non-venomous.

Neat looking snake. Would have loved some video :)

I saw RUSH back when "Presto" came out back in '89. "2112" is still their best though ;)

b13,

That snake encounter happened so quickly I didn't think of getting a video of him! Lol- he was quick too- I probably couldn't have anyway.

I am just now getting into RUSH! :) I'm a little late! But I like them a lot.

Hi Merle,

:) I knew that little snake was harmless so I didn't mind meeting him like that.
If you just get to know which are the 'bad' ones it takes the fear away!

Hope you're having a good day/night.

Tammy,

....but he was more afraid of me than I of him! He's the one who'raced' away! :)

Really, if you just get to know which snakes are the poisonous ones it will take away your fear of the harmless ones!

Philip,

Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm always pleased to see new names and faces here. :)

I don't mind meeting those harmless snakes at all around our place!
