Visit from the kids...
Today was mostly a gloomy day- except for one unexpected pleasure...a visit from a grandson - (Dan) a granddaughter (Allison) and a daughter!(Tina)
...It doesn't take a lot to make me happy... :)

Isn't it amazing how a visit from family can make even the most dismal day seem great? I love the smiles in this photo. To me they show a family very happy to be visiting you. You are blessed!

Thanks...and yes it was Tina who had the kidney problem - and still has a surgery ahead ( probably in Sept.) but is doing ok at this time.

I was at my brother's last week, and was only able to get online for about half an hour one time. He internet was all messed up. I visited your blog, and I even wrote a nice long comment. My comment would not go through. :-(

I am at my parents' house now, and I am thrilled to have consistent internet access!! On Wed, my son, dad, brother, and I will start our driving trip. My gallavanting will cease on August 8th. After that, I will get back to a regular blogging schedule.
I hope you continue to enjoy the summer, and I hope you have many more family times and fun motorcycle rides this summer!

Aw...I know how you loved this visit Junie. They all look wonderful. How's Tina been feeling? I noticed you said she has a surgery coming up in September....my very best wishes to her for a fast recovery and many happy, healthy days ahead. Bless your beautiful family Junie....starting at the top with you and Charles.
Thanks so much Joy, for all your good thoughts and wishes for our family.
Tina is feeling well (she says) working just as before...howerver, the kidney stint is temporary and in awhile will need to be replaced... but the surgery (in the near future) is to repair the damage and , hopefully, fix the problem so the stint will not be needed.
