If that's the first time you ever operated a video camera, you did a fantastic job. My first movies I actually moved the camera around too fast and made everybody feel nauseous when watching the playback. hehehe
It was nice seeing everybody live on film and hearing your voice. You'll have to make more films for us to see.
Was that your new video camera that you got for Christmas?
:) Yep- my new camera and the first time I had it in my hands!
Oh, my goodness! I didn't know I had such a southern drawl as that! NOT that it's a bad thing to have... just surprising! hahaha
My son-in-law got more of our Christmas but that's the only little bit I did myself! :) I thought it was funny what my daughter was saying about her dad and wanted to get that on the record! ;)
Oh Junie, I SO enjoyed that video:-) What a terrific job you did making your first little movie and being able to post it!! I loved hearing everyone talk and seeing all your beautiful decorations. I've just finished reading all of your other posts that I had missed as well...such wonderful gifts you received and everyone looks so happy:-) Now the fun will begin, having to take everything down...I always do that the day after New Year's Day. xox
To my midwest and now So. Cal ear you do sound beautifully southern. Thank you for this marvelous glimpse into your Christmas.
Thanks for visiting, Maria!
It was a good time- having all the family together. (This gathering at the table was not everyone )
Happy New Year!
Junie
Hi Pea,
Happy you enjoyed the little vid of a part of our Christmas- and some pics from the Christmas Eve party and Christmas day!
We had a grand time! (even tho I have not been feeling my best lately)
We pulled it off!! :)
Happy New Year!
Love,
Junie
A very nice First Movie!
Your grandson's tale about being a tourist reminded me of the time when our oldest son went on a mission trip to an inner-city school in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
I gave him a $10 with the instructions to "buy something for his momma" and thought it would be really good, considering the exchange rate at the time.
When he returned, he said there hadn't been much time or energy to do any sight-seeing in gift shoppes.
What he had done was traded t-shirts with another worker--giving away his own which said the name of our local state university and receiving one with a Canadian Mountie cartoon on it.
The money went into extra snacks for his work team.
I guess I came out ahead, since my son literally gave away the shirt on his back for mine.
