I guess if you happen to be a boy fascinated with cars, trucks, tractors and motor cycles (or anything with wheels and a motor) you would not pass up a chance to take a ride...even if the "RIDE" is pink and small!

This is a collector car my husband has had on his shelf for many years, and Drake spotted it and wanted to play with it!

 

 We thought he would just push it around the floor with his vooom vooom motor going ...but he actually wanted to ride it, himself! He got on it and waved to us and said "Bye!!"

Our  Thanksgiving Day was very special for all of us. We had everyone home except for my 2 sons-in Law, Marc and Terry. We missed them a lot!

My granddaughter, Alli, was home for a couple days. She and her mom were working on her costume for a Halloween/masquerade-party/dance at college.

She's very much into Swing Dancing and the ones in charge of the dances sponsor this event

each year for Halloween. The theme this year is "Alice In Wonderland," and the guests were asked to dress as characters from that Tale! Alli chose "The Mad Hatter" as the character she would be.
(partly because she's such a HAT person, anyway!!) :)

Alli and her mom did a great job creating this costume-IMHO- especially as they did most of it while they were babysitting Drakey for Chris, Joy and I to go to that concert Wednesday night!

My Alli is so cool!!

Today is my Son-in Law's birthday!

This pic was taken on his last trip home earlier this month!

Marc and his faithful friend, "Cassie," are long distance truckers!

Hope they are having a good day, where ever they may be today!

Last I heard, they were in Ohio -Marc sent me a scene of beautiful fall flowers!

Ruby Tuesday 2 ! Aug 28, 2012

On this "Ruby Tuesday 2" day I had a nice outing with my daughter, Tina.

She had bought a couple items at an antique shop and so I went with her to help her unload and set them up at her house.

What she had bought were a small dining table and a wine rack...but they are not RED so I won't show them for this post  ... :)

I did, however, see some neat Ruby Reds at Tina's house...

This rooster sits on top of the wine rack Tina bought! He's so colorful and cheery ~ he makes me smile!!

Her Kitchen clock is quite whimsical also!

Here is a pic of Tina and her grown-up kids, taken at our house in March, 2012. It was Dan's birthday.(#29)

Da baby boy came to stay with me today. We had lots of fun.

Here he is playing with one of his favorite toys, a musical, blue elephant. Looks like Drake is snuggled down for a nap here but he really wasn't. I just caught him NOT looking at the camera-a rare thing!!

About the elephant..I think he should have a name because everyone needs to know who they are...I was thinking of 'L.E.Font!' I'll have to ask Drake what he thinks of that idea...

Alli also came up for awhile, as she is home at her Mom's house for a couple of days....LOL- No one can stay away from Drakey for very long!!! ;)

Yesterday I kept trying to get a 'Smiling' picture of Drake, but he kept cutting it off just before I clicked!! :)

 

 Never mind, Drakey, I'll have a lot of time to work on getting those smiles captured starting next week!

 

 Yep! I'll be baby sitting a few days a week! :) (Joy will be returning to work)
On July 3rd. Drake will be 2 months old!

On the day of our Mother's Day celebration  (on Saturday) we had a  Fed Ex delivery of these 3 boxes!

I couldn't imagine what they were or who they were from!

Turns out my daughter, Tammy, ordered these 3 boxes of Chocolate dipped cherries  and had them delivered just before her arrival here! The 3 gifts were for Me, her sister, Tina, and her sister-in-law, Joy!

Tina had to work on Saturday so she didn't get to sample hers

until she could come up the next day, on Mother's Day!
