Some spring pics
Yesterday I walked around our yard, with camera in hand, to capture a bit of spring!
My being sick with the cold/flu thing last week resulted in my missing the last of the Redbud blooms and the wild plum is almost over too! The Camilas are almost finished as well... But- the Azaleas are blooming! YAY!!
Spring is so fleeting here! It always amazes me how quickly it comes and goes!
Charles put down rye grass seed last fall so we have had a green yard all winter!
Looks pretty!
Here are some pics around our yard!
These pictures show 2 colors of Azaleas and the wild plum
blossoms! (that I, so, love!)
The little yellow flower is some sort of Iris, I think! Not sure!
Does anyone know this flower?
The new, tender green coming on , on those trees always remind me of my dear Mom! She always expressed her delight in this early spring green of the trees! She loved this time of year! ( so I will try to get double enjoyment out of this beauty in Mom's memory!)
~~~
And here is my Tiger, enjoying the sunny day!
Love,
Junie
For a snowbound boy, it looks wonderful.
I am soooo jealous Junie. We still have big patches of snow and are expecting more this evening. The flowers are lovely but I can't identify any thing for you because I'm such a dunce about flowers. I only know I love them.
AC,
Go south -young man!! :)
Mary,
:( I DO hope your spring comes soon.
Seems you've had a LOT of snow this time!
Junie
I could just drink up your yard! It's chilly and raining here today :(
Hope you are feeling better. I may be getting it now. Been having this sinus thing..
Hi Carolyn,
I hope your spring comes soon! Everyone seems more than ready for winter to be over!
I still am not feeling well- but better. Getting the energy level up has been hard.
I'm sorry you're not feeling well.
Take it easy as much as you can.
Hugs))
Junie
That's it...I'm moving over there with you!!!! I can't believe all the flowers and green grass you have over there...all I see when I look out is SNOW! We usually have snow until mid April or later so we have a ways to go yet. In my next life I want to be a cat and do like Tiger...LOL!! xox
Hi Pea,
:) ...Have to admit- It's pretty nice here this time of year!
The worse part of living in Florida are the HOT summers!
I'll be the one complaining then!! :)
Hugs)))
Hi Junie, Thanks for the walk around yor garden, your Azalea's are lovely, and I see you Tiger stretched out gathering a few ray of sunshine...Jen
Hi Jen,
:) thanks for coming over!
Junie
We had our first snowfall this winter. It snowed overnight on Monday, but by noon yesterday, it was all melted. It's 60 degrees here now, and the signs of spring are here. Our trees have not started blooming or getting greenery yet though. Spring has come to you sooner than it has here.
Enjoy it all!!
Enjoy precious memories of your mother as you see the flowers and all the things she loved so much.
Beautiful pictures! I sure am ready for spring but it won't be here for a(long)while yet.
Hi JD,
Yes, we have spring early- lol- and summer early and long!
But I'm happy to live where we do.
Junie
