Travels with ~ Alli. with. an. 'i' (and us, too! # 3)
~~~
After we left Atlanta... (escaped from ~ Charles would say! :) ) the drive on to north Alabama was very nice. It was a beautiful, blue sky day; with no rain!
Lol- And we didn't get lost...well... not seriously lost, anyway!
These following pics resulted from a slight wrong turn to find our way to Springville from Gadsden. We had to do a little turnaround to get to our road but we didn't mind at all as we spied this beautifully landscaped building /grounds! It turned out to be the Gadsden City Hall. The gardens were just stunning, for a flower lover like me! We had to stop and look around a little!
I have no idea what these tall flowers are, but they certainly were spectacular!
( If anyone knows these flowers please let me know what they are!)
We enjoyed that brief stop very much...
( continued tomorrow...)
Hello dear Junie:-)
I'm back from visiting my boys and now trying to catch up with everyone! The weather isn't cooperating, though, we keep having thunderstorms and the power had gone out twice now...don't they know I have some blogging to be done?? lol
I'm so glad you stopped at this place when you saw the flowers...I agree with you, those tall plants are gorgeous and I so love the colours!! I wish I could tell you what kind of plant they are but I'm afraid I have no idea. Love the pictures of you and Charles:-) xoxo
Great pictures, Junie. I have no idea what those flowers are, but I'm going to keep checking back here to see if anyone else does. :)
You're both very static in your photos. I thought they'd be blurry because you were still dancing after the concert.
:)
AC,
The old folks of the farm don't dance! ;)
Hi Pea,
Well, hope you didn't have any more trouble posting! THAT'S very aggravating!!
Yep- those plants were well worth a closer look! I DO hope I can find out what they are! I had never seen them before!
Hope you're having a good night.
Junie
Hi Sally,
Those plants were very interesting! I hope someone can identify them for me! It's not often I come across a plant/flower that is new to me!
Have a good night, Sally.
Junie
You caught some beautiful flowers! We were in Gadsden Friday at Noccalula Falls.
Hi Dot,
How cool!
We've been to Noccalulu Falls- many years ago!
I have cousins in Gadsden but we didn't have time to look anyone up on this trip. We never have enough time to do all we'd like!
Thanks for coming by.
Junie
