Statue of Liberty

The 9-11 Memorial site and the Statue of Liberty were the two things I had looked forward to most of all on our trip to NY. We were able to accomplish both, but on different days!
Both required high security checks of visitors, the same as boarding checks at the airports.
The lines were long to get in (both places) but we didn't mind . These places were always at the top of our 'must see' list.

What a thrilling experience this day was!

Awesome shots Junie!
I've scrolled down your last few posts and I'm so envious. I have always wanted to see NY. I couldn't do much walking though so that 'Seniors' bench sounds good to me. :)
It had to be a very impressive day for the three of you. I too would have a need of that Senior bench.

The NY trip was fun- but it was hard for me to do so much walking! I did better than I thought I would, though!
