  We had a very nice day and ended with an excellent meal.

   

    My sister and her husband joined us for dinner.

  Our waitress offered to take some pictures of us...lol-but this is the best of the 3 that she took....sooo... (just saying...)

  

  Oh, well, at least the day is recorded!!   :) 

   After dinner we went back to our house for coffee and cake and some good chit-chat!

This is Daniella, a little  friend of ours who came to visit  around Easter time!

She brought me some Easter  treats -the little baskets and eggs filled with candy! 

The best treat of all was seeing that pretty little girl,  in her cute pink outfit and and that curly hair!

Isn't her hair just gorgeous?

  :)

 

Also, she gives great hugs!

Our Anniversary-#51

Today is our anniversary. All we have planned is dinner out tonight because we need to be around close to home with the baby due any time .
We'll probably have an early dinner at Red Lobster, and then back home

 (in case the baby decides to come early...before next week, as planned .)

Hey-this is 51 years of marriage for us-and we expect many more! :)

My daughter-in-law and son's baby boy will be delivered by C-section in about a week.(maybe May 3-or 4th) We pray it all goes well for both Mom, Joy and baby , 'Drake Charles!' Just think, folks!! A new grandchild, after more than 21 years!!! :) :)

 

This was at the baby shower we had for her a few weeks ago.

We have a new baby at our place this week - and she is a beauty!

I named her "April!"

These pictures were  all  taken when she was just about 1 hour old!

She's so pretty!

Mom is very protective of her newborn.

  After awhile, mom, "Cloud,"  relaxes and partakes of a well deserved snack of hay.

Alli came up ( from Orlando) to drive Joy to her doctor appointment in Gainesville today. She wanted to be able to see the latest ultrasound picture of the baby! I, of course, went, also!

 What an exciting time for all of us! I don't think there has ever been a baby more welcome than this little guy!! :)

 Joy was told by her doctor that he will be a BIG baby...She has 3 more weeks until her due date of May 10th!

 ....Well, I'm still hoping he will come on my birthday-May 5th! That would be the coolest thing! :)
