Today's Flowers_Oct 29, 2011-"A Rose Refreshed"

It rained during the night and left this rose bloom refreshed and breathtakingly beautiful!

This flower bloomed out a couple days ago and I took this picture then. It grows inside a courtyard entrance at our front door. My Halloween display is in the front of this,  just outside.

(I wanted to include my pumpkin in this pic)

Fall outing with 2 of my girls...

Yesterday was a beautiful fall day for us here in north Fl and Tina, Alli and I took advantage of it by taking it all in at an Art Festival in our little town.

These are as we were about to leave from my house...

We had a fine lunch together and then we went to look at a lot of pretty art displays. I spent a lot of time,  too,  just 'taking in' the natural beauty of our area - mainly the giant Live Oaks draped with Spanish Moss.

I always enjoy seeing the student art work from our local schools, as well as the more professional displays.

Bob Seger~"Turn the Page" (from Face Book page)

Saw this on a friend's page and was reminded again how much I like Bob Seger!
:) I like the way he sounds and I like the words of his songs!

Although this song is about a life style most of us know little about...the words still touch me. I'm reminded how all our lives are about 'Turning the Page,' ...how we have to end one chapter and begin another, over and over throughout our life.
